CMS students on to regional Spelling Bee

CENTER – On Jan. 27, Center Middle School participated in a Spelling Bee.

Alexis Vazquez won the oral round of the Spelling Bee, and Elliot Cardoza won the written round. Vazquez took first place overall, Landry Neufeld was second place, and Keira Ruggles was third.

According to Pavlovsky, the group will be moving on to regionals.

Center Consolidated School District Superintendent Carrie Zimmerman is extremely proud of the district and everyone who does their part to make it a success.

“These types of events highlight the amazing staff we have in place at every level.  I am thankful to work with such a solid team. A school district has a lot of moving parts and ensuring that everything comes together smoothly means that everybody is doing their job at every level.  We have some amazing staff running our various departments,” she said.
