SAGUACHE COUNTY — The following information was provided by the Saguache County Sheriff’s Office for the period between May 31-June 6, 2021. 

The Sheriff’s Department’s activity on the road included 12 traffic stops, one traffic complaint, one abandoned vehicle, one injury crash and one property damage crash. 

In addition, staff recorded 14 ambulance calls, two fraud reports, one suspicious activity report, two harassment reports, three animal problem reports, one stolen property report, one criminal mischief report, three animal problem reports, 12 information calls, and assisted on a search and rescue call.  

They also monitored six controlled burns, two fires (other), made two welfare checks, assisted one citizen, and checked on two alarms. 

Arrests 

• Vanessa Monique Salazar, 29, Center, unlawful distribution/manufacturing/dispensing/sale possession of drugs, criminal possession of financial device, and criminal possession of identification document.
• Michael Anthony Sisneros, 41, Center, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft between $300-$749.99, possession of an illegal weapon, and child abuse person acts with criminal negligence.
• Juan Carlos Espinosa, 30, Center, unlawful distribution/manufacturing/dispensing/sale possession of drugs, criminal possession of financial device, and criminal possession of identification document.
• Dominic Angelo Garcia, 42, Center, two charges of assault third degree and domestic violence.
