Storytime is Tuesdays at the Saguache Public Library

SAGUACHE — The Northern Saguache County Library will be hosting Storytime on Tuesdays from 10 to 11 a.m. The public is invited to attend this event. Different books will be read every week.

On Feb. 6, Lisa Anne will be reading “One Special Day,” by M. Christine Butler.

The book is illustrated with colorful pictures that are set in the woods. The book tells the story of a little hedgehog who babysits his cousin, with help from some forest friends. His baby cousin’s blanket gets lost and provides the group with lots of fun adventures trying to get the favorite blanket back to the baby hedgehog.

Storytime would be a great time for parents to bring their young ones in to hear this sweet story. The Northern Saguache County Library District is a combination of two libraries that cover multiple areas, including Moffat, Saguache, and Crestone. The Saguache Public Library and the Baca Grande Library are two wonderful learning centers that help keep the community engaged in paper resources and education.

Both libraries also host local artists and provide many opportunities for learning and education by teaching classes and hosting regular educational events. For more information on both libraries, visit the Saguache Public Library at 712 Pitkin Ave. in Saguache, or call 719-655-2551.
