ALAMOSA – Jaycee Francis of Monte Vista remained in fourth place in girls breakaway roping after the first go-round of the National Junior High School Finals Rodeo. The first go ended on Wednesday morning.
Francis had a time of 21.622 seconds to finish fifth in the pole bending performance on Sunday. She was in 25th place overall at the end of the first go round.
On Monday morning, Francis had the best time in the second performance of girls breakaway roping with a time of 2.52 seconds. It was the fourth best time at the end of the first go-round.
She had her first performance in girls goat tying on Monday evening. She had a time of 20.78 seconds which was 21st in the performance. She was in 68th place overall as the end of the first go-round.
She had her second go in girls goat tying on Friday morning and girls breakaway roping on Friday evening. She will have her final performance in pole bending on Saturday morning.
