OKLAHOMA CITY — Love’s Travel Stops is expanding its footprint in Colorado, with the opening of a new country store in Alamosa. The newest location serves community members and customers traveling on Highways 160 and 17. Conveniently located at 138 Broadway Ave., the store provides access to fresh food, clean restrooms and more.
The Alamosa country store adds 30 jobs ranging from retail operations to food service. The location includes Love’s fresh food items such as sandwiches, salads, wraps and fresh-cut fruit prepared on-site daily. The food is made in an open kitchen concept where customers can see food items prepared. The location also includes Godfather’s Pizza. Love’s is one of the largest food service operators in the country.
As part of a competitive total rewards package for employees, Love’s offers access to tuition-free education and skill development for eligible full- and part-time team members through the Fuel Your Growth program in partnership with Guild.
Through the Love’s App, customers can get 10-cents-off per gallon on gasoline and 15-cents-off per gallon on auto diesel, in addition to mobile deals on snacks, food, drinks and other products.
In honor of the grand opening, Love’s will donate $5,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of San Luis Valley and $5,000 to Children’s Hospital Colorado. In addition, Love’s district managers work with eligible nonprofits in their area to make donations through community grants on an annual basis.
