MONTE VISTA - Alabama duo Muscadine Bloodline – Charlie Muncaster and Gary Stanton – worked the packed crowd into a frenzy at the opening concert of the 103rd annual Ski-Hi Stampede in Monte Vista on July 10.

The concert was presented by Plant Nutrient Solutions and Summit Gold.

The crowd sang along to their original hit songs and familiar country covers during the fast-paced 90-minute performance.

Muncaster is the lead singer and shares vocals with guitarist Stanton.

Special guest Aaron Watson opened the concert for the country duo.

The Ski-Hi Stampede continues July 12 with a parade in the morning and PRCA rodeo action in the evening. It concludes with more rodeo action on Sunday afternoon.
