APD has issued two additional updates: Dennis Gonzales and the juvenile have been located and the vehicle in question has been found. The third person, identified as Levi Turningrobe, 22, has not yet been located.
ALAMOSA — The Alamosa Police Department is currently looking for three people in connection with an early morning shooting in the 900 block of Hunt Avenue. One of the individuals has been identified as Donovan Gonzales, 18. The other two are juveniles.
The three fled the scene and were last seen in a 2001 red Chevrolet Suburban with Colorado License plate: DONO1. The vehicle has aftermarket lighting on the roof and chrome wheels.
These individuals should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who has information about this shooting or knows the whereabouts of the vehicle or Gonzales is asked to contact their local law enforcement or call 911.
On June 14, 2025, at approximately 3:00 am, the Alamosa Police Department was notified of a shooting in the 900 block of Hunt Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found an 18 year old male who had been shot multiple times. The victim was transported to the San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center Hospital for treatment and is currently listed in serious condition.
The Alamosa Police Department is being assisted by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, Alamosa County Sheriff’s Office and the 12th Judicial District Attorney's Office on this investigation.
